Economic growth is not a must

Growth is important for the 20% who has 80% of the wealth. What is a better option? To die rich or to die after a fulfilling life?
I can tell, the rich make our planet running out of natural resources. We will reach the ceiling, sooner or later, this way or that way. It can be through climate migration, collapse of transportation and global market, or maybe an epidemic.
We have to be prepared for this kind of events, we have to become resourceful to bounce back, whatever happens.
